About Us
Hello! We're Penny & Nicole
We are Nosey Toesie's co-founders and first time māmās; Penny Long and Nicole Etter.
As two childhood best friends and former Registered Nurse and Social Worker, we began our journey into motherhood together which opened up a whole new avenue.
Through watching our boys grow and explore the different ages and stages of play, the high need for sensory based toys became clear. After some research and identifying the gap in the local market we decided to develop a play product that aligns with both sensory and interactive play.
Our name Nosey Toesie came about from our boys. One being very curious about learning how the world works from the get go and the other being blessed enough with two little toes webbed together for extra exploring.

What We Created
In creating our sensory play mat we have paid close attention to detail, textures and fabrics which are great for babies and toddlers to learn and develop fine motor skills.
After many months of brainstorming our own design and through the days where our mum brains were only functioning on 4 hours sleep we managed to pull together a pretty neat sensory play mat.
Our idea was to design a product to accommodate a range of developmental stages with various aspects on it to enhance babies and toddlers creativity and busy bodies.
We hope you and your family or friends have as much enjoyment watching the little ones engaging with our toys, as we had in creating them.
